« La Chaude Ruelle »

The « La Chaude Ruelle » plot was planted by Thierry Lombard and his son Thomas in 2007.

The attention given to the vines and the wine passion are the personality trait of the Lombard family.

The memory

The fisrt corporate book of the estate, dating from 1925, trace the expeditions with our fisrt clients.

The cluster

« Grappe de raisins avec quelques boules en moins » is a sculpture of Julien Gudéa. This original piece is limited to 8 copies and hung up in our tasting room.


In this room, more than 50 vintages draw the memory and the DNA of the estate.

The Champenois style

The architecture of the estate is typical from the 20’s and from the « champenois » style.

Dark in white

Our cellars dig into the chalk are constant temperature : 12°C all the year, which guarantees optimum conditions for our wines ageing.

The ancient caveau

The oldest caveau of the estate, dating back from 18th century, as it has been confirmed during the UNESCO world heritage classification of Champagne.

The cave entry

The centenary Lombard’s cave are 1,5 km long under the west “coteau” of Epernay.
